Kitchen reconstruction
The initial task of the reconstruction of the kitchen with a dining room was subsequently extended by the requirement to restore the living room and the staircase to the first floor, which rises from the dining area. The ground floor is dominated by white, which in contrast is complemented by a dark brown walnut decor with a few accents of black and yellow. The kitchen consists of two parallel kitchen units, the hob is turned into space, bounded by a bar counter and terminated by a column with shelves. The column had to be preserved as a supporting element and, together with the ceiling cladding on the island, optically divides the space. The dining table is custom made from a plate with walnut veneer and a metal base. Its design is also reflected in the form of railings on the stairs, unusually lowered from the ceiling. A cozy reading corner penetrated beneath them.
Double-sided fireplace
The entrance to the living room was widened and a transparent fireplace was built into the partition - a fireplace with glazing on opposite sides, so we can enjoy the view of the flames from both rooms at the same time.
